Foundation of the Association

SLGDEA was officially launched in November 2024 to address challenges facing midstream of the Gold Value & Supply Chain particularly gold dealers and exporters, providing a coordinated approach to improve industry standards. The association quickly established strategic partnerships with local artisanal miners, mining Districts, Chiefdoms and stakeholders to promote fair Gold trade practices.
